background in clinical psychology, I, Kristin, have been working in psychological treatment of psychiatric conditions since 2009. Since 2019, I have also broadened my expertise to include organizational assignments and today I divide my time in my business between clinical efforts and organizational assignments as well as lecturing and workshops. My formal qualifications include a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bath, CBT training (UCL) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from University College London (UCL) in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>For more than a decade in the UK, I trained and worked in a variety of psychiatric care settings, including primary care, outpatient and inpatient, as well as on several wards at Great Ormond Street Children&#8217;s Hospital. My doctoral thesis focused on how patients with depression and anxiety experience the effects of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy over time. I have a deep interest and expertise in methods to increase focus, attention to the present and mental presence, and how these factors can improve well-being, functioning and performance.<\/p>\n<p>Since returning to Sweden in 2017, I have worked in specialist psychiatry, with a particular focus on anxiety problems and trauma, as well as the assessment and treatment of personality disorders. I have further trained as a DBT therapist at Karolinska Institutet, and offer treatment for individuals who experience an unstable emotional life and need to develop the ability to regulate their emotions and behavioral patterns. My interest in personality has also led me to get certified in Hogan Assessment Systems, an advanced personality assessment method for professional life. I now offer this service to companies and organizations for recruitment and talent and leadership development.<\/p>\n<p>Through my work in occupational health care, I have acquired solid knowledge and expertise in the investigation and treatment of stress and exhaustion. I also lecture to managers and organizations and advise on how to prevent stress-related ill-health in the workplace and how to promote high, but sustainable, performance.<\/p>\n<p>I work with Swedish and international companies, and through my long-term and in-depth partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/assessinternational.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Assess International<\/a>, I can deliver large-scale and resource-intensive projects.<\/p>\n<p>With my broad experience and passion for how psychological knowledge can be applied, I am dedicated to offering customized and research-based solutions of the highest quality.
